T-Ford oli vuosien 1908 – 1927 välisenä aikana valmistuksessa ollut Fordin lanseeraama automalli. Mallia pidetään yleisesti yhtenä 1900-luvun alkupuoliskon merkittävimmistä suunnannäyttäjistä automekaniikan ja motoriikan kehityksessä. Auto oli myös yksi ensimmäisistä keskiluokan saataville luoduista malleista. T-Fordin alhaisen hinnan selittää pääosin Henry Fordin kehittämä liukuhihna, jonka myötä autonvalmistusprosessi hyppäsi hurjaa vauhtia eteenpäin aiemmasta. T-Fordia ennen autot valmistettiin hitaasti käsityönä, mutta liukuhihnan avulla tuotanto pystyttiin automatisoimaan ja standardisoimaan. T-Fordin eli Ford Model T:n hinta pystyttiin tiputtamaan alle tuhannen dollarin ensimmäisenä nelipaikkaisena ja –sylinterisenä mallina maailmassa.T-Fordin moottori on 2,9-litrainen ja 20 hevosvoiman peto, jolla kyettiin saavuttamaan noin 70 km/h huippunopeus. Auto painaa noin 540 kiloa ja kuluttaa sadalla kilometrillä löpöä vaihtelevasti 11,5 – 19 litran välillä.Kuten useimmat muutkin vanhan ajan autot, myös T-Ford poikkeaa merkittävästi nykyaikaisista jälkeläisistään: esimerkiksi polkimia oli kolme, mutta niistä kahta käytettiin vaihteiden vaihtamiseen kaksivaihteisella planeettapyörästöllä. Kolmatta poljinta käytettiin moottorijarruna. Kaasu toimi erillisestä vivusta, kuten myös nykyaikainen käsijarru. Porsche 911 on saksalaisen Porsche AG -autovalmistajan kaksiovinen ja kaksipaikkainen urheiluautomalli, joka on tunnettu tehokkuudestaan. Ensimmäinen Porsche 911 julkaistiin jo vuonna 1963 ja siitä on julkaisuvuoden jälkeen valmistettu seitsemän uudempaa mallia.Kyseinen Porsche-malli kehitettiin alun perin tavalliseksi käyttöautoksi, mutta sitä on julkaisemisensa jälkeen muokattu usein autourheilun tarpeisiin. Esimerkiksi vapaasti hengittävällä moottorilla varustettu malli, Porsche 911 Carrera voitti useita urheiluautokilpailuja 1970-luvulla.Porsche 911 valittiin vuonna 1999 kansainvälisessä äänestyksessä Maailman autoteollisuuden järjestön Vuosisadan auto -kilpailussa 1900-luvun viidenneksi parhaaksi autoksi. Se on myös tähän päivään asti ainut edelleen valmistettava kilpailussa viiden parhaan joukkoon sijoittuneista autoista. Porsche 911 -mallia oli myyty vuoteen 2013 mennessä 820 000 kappaletta.Mallia on kiitelty erityisesti hyvin suunnitellusta ilmajäähdytteisestä moottorista. Mikä on auto, joka on jokaisen automiehen ja -naisen unelma? Vastaus on helppo: Bugatti Veyron. Kyseessä oleva autoilijan märkä uni on luksusluokan urheiluauto, jonka valmistus aloitettiin tasan kymmenen vuotta sitten. BBC:n Top Gear -ohjelma nimesi Bugatti Veyronin vuosikymmenen autoksi 2000-luvulla – onhan kyseessä auto, joka yltää kaikista korkeimpiin laillisiin nopeuksiin.Bugatti Veyronin Super Sport -version huippunopeus on 431,072 kilometriä tunnissa, “tavallisen” urheiluautoversion yltäessä 408 kilometrin tuntinopeuteen. Ensimmäinen pitää hallussaan nopeimman sarjatuotetun auton maailmanennätystä Guinnessin ennätysten kirjassa.Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4:ää valmistetaan Ranskan Molsheimissa, mutta se on saksalaisen Volkswagenin suunnittelema. Bugatti Veyronin on pääkehittäjä on saksalainen Hartmut Warkuss ja sen ulkomuodon on suunnitellut Volkswagenin slovakialainen suunnittelija Jozef Kabaň. Teknistä toteutusta on ohjannut niin ikään saksalainen Wolfgang Schreiber. Bugatti Veyronin moottori on 1001-hevosvoimainen. Autosta on julkaistu 11 erikoisversiota, joista suurin osa on ollut näytillä erilaisissa maailman tunnetuimmissa autonäyttelyissä. Myytyjen Bugatti Veyronien hinnat vaihtelevat noin miljoonasta eurosta noin kahteen miljoonaan euroon.Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4:ää on valmistettu kuluneen vuosikymmenen aikana vain 450 kappaletta, joista 405 on myyty asiakkaille.
